Breaking Fashion News: House of Style is Back

House of Style is back or at least it is for this weekend ( March 21st/22nd). Yes, that House of Style the one that put the word “Supermodel” on the lips of all MTV watchers the show that made Cindy Crawford a household name, the show that made us familiar with Amber Valletta and Shalom Harlow! Of course staying in the youth driven marketing of the modern MTV generation this new H.O.S. is a collaboration with Teen Vogue and will feature burgeoning supermodel Chanel Iman ( LOVE HER!) corresponding and Bar Refaeli as the host. I’ve already gotten my DVR set I can’t wait to watch!

Breaking Fashion News (Update): AA to do Shoes?

Remember in the summer how I mentioned that American Apparel was going to start “doing” shoes well there hereeeeeeeee! I’m not that enthused about the current selection ( 3 so far), but if AA plans to do shoes like they do leggings, and comfy t shirts I’m sure some great selections are coming our way!

Breaking Fashion News: Topshop to launch U.S. site

I have to be honest I really didn’t give a damn about Topshop’s first U.S. Store opening in NYC since I don't live there and can’t afford to fly back and forth to shop. What I do care about is that on September 9th …yes that is next Tuesday Topshop is launching an U.S. version of the website which happens to coincide with Kate Moss’ new collection. So ladies no more trying to convert pounds to U.S. dollars with some online currency converter, we will finally have it all at our little American fingertips.

NYC’s store opening is delayed though nah na nah na nahhhhhhhh!

Breaking Fashion News: Project Runway Says Auf Wiedersehen Bravo

Yes, you’ve heard some of the rumors yesterday and they are true Project runway is “auf’ing” Bravo and heading to the home of the "Not without My Daughter"/ "Burning Bed" Marathon’s Lifetime! How in the hell this has happened no one knows but one place you can check out is Project Rungay for updated information. The new deal ( with the devil) would mean that Season 5 would air this year on Bravo and Season 6 would start in November on Lifetime ( yes two season in one year) as well as the possibilities of PR spin offs. I'm sure that this is strictly a business/money/power move on the part of the Weinstein Group but, how un-fierce is it that such a stylish, fashion forward, innovative T.V. phenomenon like Project Runway gets to Lifetime television which holds a demographic very different than that of Bravo which was home to Queer Eye for the Straight Guy and now home to Make Me a Supermodel, Millionaire Matchmaker, Workout, and Sheer Genius. Bravo’s parent company NBC Universal isn’t taking this lying down they are planning to get litigious with it!
